Andreas Martin Hofmeir was born in 1978 in Munich. After private lessons with Bob Tucci he studied with Dietrich Unkrodt in Berlin, Michael Lind in Stockholm and Jens Björn-Larsen in Hannover.

Dr. Robinson joined the faculty of the Oklahoma State University Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music in 2018. He is currently the Principal Tuba of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) and Principal Tuba of the Lawton Philharmonic.
